Does EPOCC Accept Insurance?
At this time we do not accept Insurance. However, we can provide you with a Master Bill which can be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Our assessment service costs can be covered by the IEE process. Free 30 minute consultations for new clients are offered by calling for an appointment.
What is the Hourtly Rate for Services?
Our rates do vary depending on the contractual agreement for service. We work with parents and offer a sliding fee scale if financial needed is documented. Our assessment service costs can be covered by the IEE process.
What is the fee for an IEE (Independent Educational Evaluation)?
An IEE is provided at the public expense. This means that it is provided at no cost to the parent as long as the procedures for requesting an IEE are followed. School districts require that requests for an IEE be submitted in writing
Does EPOCC offer Trainings/in-service/consultation?
Free monthly workshops/trainings are offered for parents, adovocates, and lawyers. Our workshops are held via a virtual platfom. You can register in advance by sending us an email. Our workshops run 60 minutes in length. Thirty minutes of each workshop are dedicated to reviewing key special education topics. The last 30 minutes is an open forum for Q & A. Questions can be submitted in advance via email once your registration for the workshop has been confirmed. .
